The project offers a break from urban routine, triggering the activation of one's body through conscious movements. For this reason, the project anchors to another element of the Japanese tradition: the philosophy of Kata, i.e. the way we see our bodies determines which sensory experiences we decide to evaluate, both consciously and unconsciously.
The pavilion creates the necessary conditions to enter a state of receptivity and connection between mind and body. By choosing to enter and walk through the small pavilion, the visitor must temporarily disconnect the mind from everyday life, focus on the "here and now", and undertake a series of movements needed to overcome the "obstacles" imposed by the architectural volume
